My Journey to Learning Code: Why I Started

Hey there!

Welcome to my very first blog post. I’m not a pro coder (yet), but I’ve taken my first step—and that’s what this blog is all about: learning, growing, and documenting everything along the way.

Who Am I?

I’m currently a student in class 12 with a PCM + Computer Science background. Like most students, I’ve been juggling school, exams, and figuring out what I really want to do in life. One thing that’s always stuck with me, though, is a curiosity for how things work—especially in tech.

Why I Decided to Learn Coding

It all started with the idea that I didn’t just want to use apps and websites—I wanted to know how they’re built. I’ve always been interested in creating things, whether it’s writing, drawing, or trying to build something cool on the computer. Coding felt like the perfect mix of logic and creativity.

But let’s be real—it hasn’t been easy. At first, programming seemed like some secret language only geniuses understood. I used to watch people code and think, “Will I ever be able to do that?” The answer? Yes—but only if I start.

Where I Am Right Now

Right now, I’m learning Python and exploring tools like Replit to build small projects. I’m also starting to understand HTML, CSS, and the basics of how websites are made. I plan to learn DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms) next—and I’ll share that journey here too.

Sometimes I get stuck. Sometimes I feel like I’m moving too slow. But every time I learn something new, even a small concept, it feels like a win.

Why I Started This Blog

I realized that I’m not alone. There are tons of people just starting out, just like me. So I decided to document my journey—not just for myself, but for anyone who’s also learning or thinking about starting.

This blog will be a mix of:

What I’m learning

Projects I’m working on

Mistakes I make (and what they teach me)

Resources and tips that actually help

What’s Next?

My goal is to improve a little every day, stay consistent, and maybe even inspire someone else to start coding too. If you’re reading this and you’re at the beginning of your own journey—welcome! Let’s grow together.

See you in the next post.
